At the conclusion of each session your coach will provide you with 2 video recordings ( a chess video) that can be played on your desktop and also a version for your smartphone or iPhone. You can in essence encapsulate the sessions with your trainer and go over points that were important and that you might have missed on your own time. No need for note taking, the video can be played back when needed.
5 Databases
Eventually, your training system will be complete by having 5 Databases set up. Lets go over them: 1.Tactics 2.Endgames 3.Openings (Opening Repertoire) 4.Your Games 5.Strategy and Master Games
Russian Folklore
In Russian folklore it is said that there are 300 positions which comprise the most important knowledge an aspiring player must acquire. Lets not agonize about how exactly you’re going to store these positions in the top of your head. Grandmasters do assimilate 100,000 patterns, but it’s not by sitting down and seeking to commit them to memory. You will simply become acquainted with them.
Synchronization
As a student, I will help you set up your computer so that every chess game that you play online is recorded on to a database and is put on to a folder that is shared with me, this way I can have access to your games prior to us meeting for lessons. This serves several purposes, it helps me in preparing for our sessions and also in preparing those games for you so you can use them later for training with the interfaces that I provide.
